[ after entering their room, leia's first order of business had been to take a bath. the food and medicine would probably be ready by the time she was done and, after such a long day, a nice, long soak sounded pretty appealing. so, she had gathered up her pajamas (because screw rpg logic that says they wear their default outfits to bed) and headed for the bathroom— but not without calling a warning to not peek over her shoulder as she went.
her bath wasn't too long, all things considered, but she had been right about their order being ready by the time she was done. it wasn't until she started eating that she realized how hungry she actually was, though, and she was pretty quiet while they ate as a result. there might've been a little bit of joking back and forth, of course, but her focus had been on the food in front of her. she even managed to take the medicine without too much complaint (though she had definitely made it known that she wasn't a fan of how it tasted).
and by the time all of that is over and they're both done with anything else that might need to be tended to, she's actually feeling a little bit better. her fever is still there and she's still feeling weaker than usual, but she's also more comfortable and ready to settle in for some well-deserved relaxation. the room's cozy atmosphere definitely lends itself to that, especially now that the noise from the festival has completely faded away for the night, anyway.
if she was roomed with milla and elize like old times, this would probably be when she would try to spark up some girl talk, and while alvin probably isn't suited for that, that doesn't mean that they can't talk at all. so, she scoots to the edge of the bed, letting her legs dangle over it, and pats the spot beside her. ]
Wanna come sit?

Yeah, right. You were totally trying to say I eat too much, weren't you?

Sometimes.

Then that'd be more like it. Girls can be sensitive, so it's good to throw them a bone every once in a while, you know.
[ especially after comparing them to pigs. ]

[ moving so that she can prop herself up on her pillows. ]
I mean, unless you think all the stuff you've been saying is stuff that I want to hear.

[ she's kidding. probably. ]

[and he just makes a little shooing hand gesture with his hands as he finishes up his own plate and sets it on the table next to the bed.]

[ but she sits up properly and looks at him in a way that might almost be just a little bit threatening, if it weren't for the fact that she sneezes as soon as she's upright. and the fact that she's probably not that intimidating in general. ]
I'll totally do it if you provoke me, though!
no subject
[just crossing his arms behind his head as he leans back against the pillows. yep. totally not thinking she's a threat at all.
do your worst, Leia.]

she doesn't really want him to get sick— she wouldn't go that far for a little prank— so she looks down at him for a moment, considering. what would be the best way to psych him out? as a kid, she would threaten to give jude cooties by touching him sometimes, but that was a little different.
so, she just ends up leering down at him and not doing much else. then: ]
This is your last chance to take me seriously, you know. Otherwise, you're really gonna get it.
no subject
just a slight smirk.]
Yeah, right. What's the worst you can do? Sneeze on me?
[okay that would be kind of gross, but he highly doubts she would actually do that. but them's be fighting words.]
no subject
[ and she leans in just a little closer, matching his smirk with a grin of her own. ]
Or I could dig that scarf you lent me out of my laundry and use it as a handkerchief. [ which would only really work out for her in the long run, but still. ] The possibilities are pretty much endless!
no subject
Yeah that's not gonna happen.
no subject
[ she scrunches up her face a little in an attempt at looking serious. if they're going to be staring each other down, she's going to do it properly. ]
You sound pretty confident for someone who's totally cornered.
no subject
[that is definitely a glint in his eye and a smirk before, like a snake, his hands reach out and grab her sides, quickly moving to try and find popular tickle spots.]
no subject
[ and the rest of what she was going to say dies in her throat, because he hits a particularly ticklish spot right off the bat. she bursts into a fit of laughter, squirming and trying to push his hands away without upsetting her balance too much. ]
Come on, cut it out!
[ she must be pretty ticklish in general, actually, because it takes her a moment to get that out, and when she does, it's still pretty giggly. as soon as she gets her wits about her again, he's done for, though. ]
no subject
What happened to that little attitude you had a few seconds ago, huh?
[it's like the mean older brother picking on the younger sister.]
no subject
[ because tickling is definitely cheating. there's nothing fair about it.
once she realizes that she's not going to squirm her way out of this and that he's not stopping, she changes her plan, quickly reaching out for his sides instead of trying to get away— she's not as smooth about it as he was, because she's still giggling and trying to shift away from his hands on reflex, but she's definitely going to make an attempt at using his own tactics against him. ]
